| Firstly let me thank you for the fabulous book that I received from Michaels radio show on “New Style Radio.” In my busy schedule, reading is a luxury that I do not often get time for. However, I did pick up your book and found it to be an easy read and therefore went on to read it from page to page. It is so informative and supplies details that are clear and enhances every subject, I felt that the book had been well thought out and delivered in practical terms that would be very beneficial to both Teachers and Students. What I liked mostly about the book is that it could be picked up at anytime to be used as a reference and guide for all the various subjects. I wish you every success with your book and I am delighted to be an owner of a signed copy. |

There are many positive side to dancing, especially salsa dancing. In the “Salsa Teachers Guide Book”; Thomas OFlaherty has done an excellent job in explaining the requirements of a salsa dance instructor. The book is well presented, providing important information that instructors should be aware of; yet full of helpful and interesting information for others. Thomas begins by telling you about his introduction to salsa, which may be familiar to our own experience. It is nice to know the instructors; like us; struggled with the basics before moving on to be the dancers with the flair and skill we see on the dance floor at the salsa clubs each week. The Salsa Teachers Guide Book continues, telling the reader about the different styles of music that make what we know as salsa. Including the two main styles of dancing which have gained dominance in the salsa clubs, before going on to tell about the most important rhythms that give salsa the distinctive sound.. A good portion of the book describes what should be considered before starting your own dance classes; help with the running the dance classes and includes important information on related topics, improving the readers understanding of what is involved when setting out to become a dance instructor..An excellent book that is factual and enjoyable. A book which the reader can return to as a reference guide either as an instructor or as someone interested in learning to dance salsa.
